'Budget' flights to Jamaica

I'm hoping to travel to Jamaica sometime between now and August on a flight with Thomas Cook or Thomson due to the cheaper fares with a group of friends. We usually go by BA or Virgin depending on which side of the island we plan to stay, but the fares are £800+.
My question is how much space is on the aircrafts used for long haul by Thomas Cook and Thomson?? One member of the group has put on a lot of weight due to health problems and is very worried about seat space and leg room. Can anyone offer any feedback or comparison?

I have enough money to last me the rest of my life... unless I buy something.

The charters are actually pretty good for legroom compared to BA et al. If you can find out which plane it would be, you can get specifics from https://www.seatguru.com.0

Thomson has 33" seat pitch on long haul. http://www.thomson.co.uk/editorial/press-centre/33-legroom.html
As for Thomas Cook, I am seeing different pitches, depending on which Google result I use.

Thomas cook's legroom is good, but some complain the seats are a bit narrow, no less width than the likes of Virgin though, and Thomson are just plane great (geddit?) in my opinion.0

If you want to push the boat out a little and have no worries about legroom, BA have some good club world prices to Kingston for much of the year.
A different league compared to a charter and obviously the price reflects this but still a good deal for BA business class.
