I am 26 years old and since leaving school I have fallen in to debt due to overspending. With the help of this site and my partner I have managed to clear it and now have built up reserves to make sure it doesn’t happen again.
Now the Next stage must begin.
Our Challenge now is to build up our finances so they are ready for the future,
Our Target for this year is £6000. This will help pay for Driving Lessons, A Share Buying fund, a holiday and also our two years olds future.
However it’s not going to be easy as we currently live at my parents so it’s relatively cheap but by the end of the summer we want to rent our own place and that will make it twice as hard to save.
I have decided to start a diary, as this will help me see my successes and failures and keep me going during the hard times that will inevitably follow.
I will keep it up to date as much as possible with all the techniques that I learn from this site. I am hoping that if anybody reads this diary they will be able to suggest new techniques to help us reach our goal.
Let the Challenge Commence.
