Scottish Widows

Has anyone on here been ripped off by Scottish Widows over Life Insurance??
A friend of mine who's Mum has just passed is experiencing extreme difficulty getting paid out!!!
As if losing his Mum isn't enough!!
Could this be a Crusade for Martin to adopt??

    I doubt it as its very hard to be ripped off by something that tells you the price in advance.

    Life assurance is pretty easy as it pays out on death. The vast majority of plans (in excess of 90%) pay out without issue. There will be cases where people have not been truthful on applications which could cause issues or delays caused by probate or an inquest being called.
    Could this be a Crusade for Martin to adopt??

    You haven't said what the problems are and why there are problems. So, no-one is going to consider anything on such light information.
