Trazy - you don't know how lucky you are to have not bothered with the order. I have regretted my decision ever since I received a fulty sofa for which they are doing nothing about, its been 10 months!0

I ordered a sofa last week on checking my order I see they have added them on... At no point did the saleswoman explain the cost to me. Making them sound like they were standard.
I called the store which is 60 mile round trip away. Who said I would have to go back into the store. The sales assistant was so rude making me feel like I was in the wrong.
I threatened to call trading standards and the Fsa saying they were not providing me with enough information.
Miraculously they've worked out how to take them off my order.
Thanks for the heads up- they would have made no difference to my carpeted floors anyway. More people should be made aware of the poor advice being given out by dfs!0 -
I went and bought a sofa a few weeks ago, and refused easy glides, they made a mistake on the sofa order so had to go rectify it. A quick change, however they then added on easy glides without me noticing. Cheeky gits - nice sofa but I won't buy from that store again0

About 3 years ago, I purchased a 3 and 2 seater sofa from dfs. When the guys delivered it, it was dearer than expected. So I asked the man what the extra £45 was for, he replied that it was for the easy glides.
On top of that I had to pay the delivery men an extra £30 because they had to take a door off the hinges to get the 3 seater through.
All the extras add up without realising it, so the inexpensive sofa's are not so inexpensive after all.
