3 blown starter motors in 52 days

I bought a car from a garage in eggbuckland plymouth. In that time the car has gone through three starter motors. I feel I have been very reasonable in allowing them to fix the problem on three seperate occassions. On the last occassion I rang the garage and asked for one of the directors to ring me back.nothing so I wrote asking for a full refund, they have said no....I have since written and said the car is not fit for purpose so am rejecting it under the SOGA.......... no response....is a small claim the only way forward......

Are you sure the starter isn't just a symptom of a bigger fault, a dmf disintegrating for example?
