your local builders merchant
the stuff you get from diy stores is not a patch on the dulux trade paint and there's not a great difference in price0 -
Paul the painter here.
You can't get cheaper than costco, around £13 for 10 ltrs for normal Dulux, Dulux Trade is £23 for 5ltrs at your local decorator centre, 20% extra free at the moment. ICI Glidden is ok, £11.74 for 5ltrs.What goes around - comes around
give lots and you will always recieve lots0 -

I just picked up a 5l tin of Dulux white at Asda for about £8.50. There is usually a small home ideas section with a small selection of paint (mostly white). It saved me a trip to Homebase or B&Q.0 -
Hi, just picked up on this thread after my painter and decorator said that Dulux trade was his recommendation.
However have just seen this article http://www.decoratorstoday.co.uk/decorators_reviews.html which states
'This is where their Dulux Rich Matt range tends to differ, and most certainly their brilliant white. The discerning customer can pay up to £34.99 for a 10ltr tub of Dulux Trade brilliant white in vinyl matt. Dulux Rich Matt brilliant white however is on sale at B&Q for only £15.99. We at Decorators Today have put the two to the test and can honestly say that the Rich Matt more than holds its own against its Dulux Trade counterpart.'
