  • Hi

Well, as you are on AOL (Almost On Line) is there any way I can convince you to drop them?

    A) They are useless when it comes to Tech Support
    B) Their software is like having a virus on ya puter!!

I suspect that you may be having an issue with their Software, Try removing AOL from your Computer, then go into your Router settings, and set up your AOL username and Password

Try then to connect via Internet Explorer.

Is your Wireless actually picking up your Router?
Have you enabled the Wireless adaptor on your Laptop? (some are switched off by default)

Are you using Norton (or any other 3rd Party Firewall?)

Assuming that your laptop is readily equipped with wireless , make sure you switch on the wireless device (fn+F8 or F4) and when you see that the wireless icon and message it should show you a list of wireless networks, select your router and enter the encryption password and it should connect.

There's a sticky in this forum full of advice about setting up wireless routers.
