I am going on a cruise and I am looking for a cheap tablet / Ipad to use whilst I am away.
I want to store my photos, use free wi fi spots when ashore to check emails and keep in touch with my family via facebook etc.
I have been looking at this one:-
VERSUS 7 Touchpad Tablet - 8 GB
It is currently on offer in Asda & Curys for between £82 & £89.
Can anyone advise if this will do the job I want it to do or is there a better deal in the price range. The only thing I can find that is really given a bad review online is the battery life.
I have an android phone but I find it difficult to write emails quickly on it due to the size of the screen.
By the way I am not very knowledgable on these things so keep it simple for this OAP please!! lol:)

I don't know anything about the Versys device, but in your price range I'd probably choose the 1st one from that list.0 -
My brother has one of these sub £100 ones. They're pretty much all universally poor on battery life and unresponsive to input - i.e you press on an icon or whatever and it thinks about it for a few seconds before doing anything.
I would up the budget somewhat, maybe look at the Blackberry Playbook which is going to be phenominal with Blackberry 10 on which is a massive upgrade and also allows most Android apps to be run on it as well.0
