'Dedicated' graphics at that price unlikely to be much better than a dedicated intel 4000 chipset. Spore runs on anything slightly higher spec than a dishwasher, sims 3 needs something decent if you're playing with bells and whistles and every expansion pack known to man. Wife plays it, and makes my radeon 5770 weep. Should be fine at 1376x768 which you'll get on most cheap laptops.

£350 should easily get an i3 with intel 4000, possibly even an i5 if you keep your eye out for a deal.

    Edit - There you go

A snip at £329 inc delivery

i5 and intel 4000, 4gb ram, 500gb hd. Guarantee you won't find anything better for under £350.

Thanks for the suggestions both look nice. The HP seems better to me , the problem is I hate those track pads!

On my desktop I have ATI Radeon HD 3600 Series (I think its 3650).

Will they be just as good as it? It plays everything I want.

My desktop is about 5 years old so I think so.

    Intel 4000HD should be better.

The one specifically on the HP laptop? Or trackpads in general? Nothing to stop you plugging in a USB mouse. :)

What about it? Its worse in nearly every way than the one I posted. Intel 4000 is faster, i5 a hell of a lot faster. And its more expensive to boot?!

These benchmarks suggest otherwise. You're probably right about the CPU though.

Question is, which part would the aforementioned games be better off with?

Yeah that specific one but I will use a mouse.

The laptop will be used for open office, iTunes, watching movies, Internet browsing and playing games.
