Please can somebody explain the use of the 3 in 1 scart lead with manual switch? I am using a 2 in 1 unswitch. I have the tv, video and dvd player connected to the portable tv in my bedroom. Everytime I played the video, I have to put the volume very high as I can hardly hear anything. I wonder with a switch scart lead whether I can switch the dvd player off with the manual switch and this will improve the sound. Also sky is linked to all the bedrooms tv, it seems strange to me when I played dvd downstairs, my husband cannot watch sky on the bedroom tv. Any advice, please!! Thanks

With the mutiscart adapaters you can get signals crossing over each over and pulling signals down the advantage with the switched ones are you can have a single item connected.
ie
socket 1 = dvd
socket 2 = video
socket 3 = Sky
so only push button 1 to watch a dvd or you could have buttons 2 & 3 on to watch sky (not movies due to encryption i think) the choice is yours.0 -
I've got this one, because it carries RGB signals, only £10:

Works fine, although I'm still not sure what all the switch combinations do! I only use the A-B-C ones.Charlie0
