    Yay, my menu won :D

Actually I was just coming on though to thank Meritaten for her recipe, which we had tonight. I got to scoff double portions (which was great because I thought it was lovely) as one of the very few things my DS is fussy about is chicken thigh (he ate half of his portion and said it would have been lovely if I'd only used breast meat though) and DD had a seizure earlier today and had no appetite for anything other than a bowl of cereal. The little one and I scoffed our portions and the uneaten bits of DSs and DDs though, with some left for dad if he ever gets home in the snow tonight!

thanks for taking the time to come back and report on the recipe. That was very nice of you:A! and very gratifying for me, lol!

I love it when people come back and say how the recipe/tip went down or our advice worked! I think feedback is important as it reassures newbies, and us oldstylers feel we are still some use -especially to the younger generation!

I thought your recipe sounded far more exciting than mine - OH doesnt like mexican food - but, I am trying to think of another name for quesadillas which doesnt give the origin away...........upon which point I will certainly be cooking some!

We have quasadillas a lot. I usually do them with cheese and a sprinkling of baked beans!

So easy and perfect for a healthy after school snack for two hungry 6yr girls with hollow legs!

Nice with mozzarella, basil and tomato too :)

Anything that works in a toasted sandwich would work in a quasadilla. Doesn't have to be mexican (altho a dollop of hm guacamole, creme fraiche and salsa goes well with cheese and beans!)
Putting these winter preps here so I don't forget!
