Holiday Let Down

Last October we went back to Cape Verde, a holiday we booked again with Thompsons as we enjoyed it so much a couple of years before. Well this time, was complete problem after problem, from the flight, ( I no they can't control who gets on the plane )
a drunken woman, calling cabin crew !!!!!!, for not allowing her anymore drink, to the adult sisters fighting, but we were closer to landing at our destination than diverting. Got to our room, and on our first day we had the shower leaking into our cubicle from the room above. Lucky we weren't in there. We reported it, and was told it was fixed, next day this happened again, we went to reception and we was told to move to different room. We moved to different room, in the same block, with fire alarms hanging off the wall in corridor, ( picture was sent) .One day we were locked in our room, for about hour, as the lock had broke, had to wait for maintenance to let us out. Outside our room, was not sprayed until we mentioned the amount, of mosquitoes, fire in one of the blocks , staff had to climb into room through balcony, even thought here was a lifeguard, he was more interested look talking to people, than dragging unconscious people, out of the sea. Loose tiles around the pool, and steps into the pool screws missing. Well we reported problems to rep, and when we got back we sent letter plus pictures of complaint to travel agent, just to be told sorry, and all complaints noted but sorry.
When we booked our holiday this year, we mentioned to the staff problems we had previously, and they told us to write in again, which we did, this time, we were told, again sorry, and if we wanted to take this matter further, for us to pursue through a third party.
This was our only holiday of the year, that we've saved up for, it was suppose to be a 5 star. Any suggestions, if I should right again as I think just a simple sorry is not good enough.

Use paragraphs as your complaint will be very difficult reading if it is in the same format as your post.

Also only complain about what you feel is important. I'm pretty sure most hotels have the odd loose tile around the pool.

As above poster, it is difficult to read.

A lifegaurd talking to people rather than pulling unconcious people out of the sea isnt a complaint, unless of course all those unconcious people drowned

in other words stick to facts

We paid over £2k, for our holiday, suppose to be 5star, but we had problem after problem, but Thompsons, are not willing to do anything about it.

Was there really unconcious people in the sea?
