Aaahh to nice quiet weekends!! Went to see Oz last night, I really rather enjoyed it, didn't eat any sweets or anything either so that's good for the healthier eating!! Had breakfast cooked for me this morning and BF has just come back from town with some fresh tulips for the vase in the hall as the roses from a couple of weeks ago were looking rather tired. Bless him - looks like it could shape up to be another NSD for me!! I know flowers are technically a waste of money but our little flat is oh so cute and its one of the only little treats I'm still letting myself buy! And besides on this occasion I didn't even buy it so its totally allowed!!
Not an exciting post but like to point out the no spending!! Have a good weekend all:beer:Nest Egg Savings Target: £7300/£10,000

Hello Monday - how quickly does the time fly by?!
Ventured out for a cheeky drink or two on Saturday, didn't spend any money though as work was playing host and then BF paid for the final drinks we had before going home. NSDs all round for the weekend!! In fact looking at my spending diary I'm on 4 in a row!!
Made some yummy risotto yesterday and making chicken pasta tonight, feeling very good about my meal planning! Not doing too badly on the healthier eating either - being good and having cereal for lunch today and looking at the time I should definitely go eat that!!
Hoping this week could be a massive string of NSDs, over halfway to my target! Payday this Friday too so will have to see where I can scrimp and save pennies to make some overpayments. It's not going to be an impressive total like February but I can try my hardest to make as much as possible!

Ha, just noticed I started my last post the same way I started one a couple of weeks ago. Really can't get over how fast time seems to be going though, practically mid-March already whhhhaaaat?!
Just a quick one, want to report another probable NSD - 5 in a row :j and I checked TCB this morning - I have £29 confirmed just waiting for it all to be made payable. This will be finding it's way over to the BC when it arrives!! Checked VO too and I have £9.20 confirmed with £2 in pending payments, one is from the beginning of February too which seems a bit odd. Hopefully I'll be over the £10 marker soon. I said at the beginning of the year I would use survey monies for clothes but not sure I want to do that now. Many people seem to get Sainers vouchers and if I did that it should free up £10 to send to the BC. That's the theory anyway!! Have a jolly good Tuesday everybody

Your BF sounds lovely...cooking breakfast, bringing home tulips, taking you to the cinema * Elbows Mr Pepper Pot and points at the screen* :rotfl:
Well done on all the NSD's!

I'll be honest I've been pretty lucky with this BF! So many bad ones and then a good one comes along it's just rather nice
We're doing pretty well with the living together bit and he's being so good about paying debts and saving pennies (most of the time anyway!)
Had a rethink of our holiday thoughts, instead of blowing more than we can afford in going somewhere hot we're going to plan a couple of trips (I'll do one and he'll do one) and just make do with the mini get-aways. I'll have £200 in my big-spends-savings so will use that. I know many hardcore debt wannabes will think this is silly but I won't be adding anything extra to my debts so its allowed in my mind at the moment! Who knows come June I may so nooo and throw all the money at the credit card. Just for now it seems a good idea and I'd be happy to plan something fun and cheapy for us to do. Plus I wana know what he's guna plan!
Thought I'd have a little quarterly review come March payday with what I've paid so far towards my debts. Working it out as a percentage of my wages will be scary!!
Turns out to be another NSD today. On a roll with these bad boys!! :rotfl:Nest Egg Savings Target: £7300/£10,000

So; it's 3 paydays into the year tomorrow and I'm going to total up what I've paid (or will have paid by the end of March) toward debt in these 3 months and see how things are going...
I've just realised that one of these loans aren't in my signature as it's for my laser surgery and I count that as an optical bill rather than a loan. It's got 18 months left on it and then I'll be free from any further spends on the old eyes, those who spend on glasses and contacts will now how easily it adds up - surgery was easily one of the best things I did but I didn't go about it in the right way as I just entered into the credit agreement because I wanted it doing there and then.
Here we are...
1. [STRIKE]£825[/STRIKE] £860 to the Barclaycard - this is my biggest debt at the moment and where I'm making most overpayments.
2. £600.21 off the loan - set payments, with a year left to go, according to my settlement fee it would cost me more to pay it now than to just pay the remainder over the next 12 months!
3. £75 - minimum payments on the 0% N/wide card
4. £183.57 - laser surgery loan
Which by my reckoning is a rather scary looking £1718.78
Which is 42.8% of my net wages... just think of the handbags and holidays I could afford with that?! Just makes me think how ridiculous I've been to get myself into this situation. Positive thinking - I am living and learning and striving to be debt freeeee :ANest Egg Savings Target: £7300/£10,000

PS - 11 NSDs so far in March with 7 in a row today!!!!!!! :j
I can squeeze another one out tomorrow but then I'm meeting a friend on Saturday so will have to put a bit of petrol in the car (BF disappearing to a stag do leaving me with the car but the light on!)Nest Egg Savings Target: £7300/£10,000

So BF disappeared off on his stag do this morning. Made myself breakfast this weekend and now I'm looking out the window at the rain thinking I've got to get moving! I've got a £20 off a £40 spend at the body shop voucher and wondering whether I use it. I think I'm allergic to my current face wash as I keep getting a rash on the side of my face
Do I spend £20 because I have the voucher and get £40 worth of stuff or just get a new face wash?? Hmmm... Two sides of the money saving coin!!
Got to put a bit of petrol in the car to get to my friends but other than that I should be ok. Unless I buy the body shop stuff?? What to do what to do??? Actually I'll plan a top up shop for later too so all my spends are on the same day!! Cunning NSD plan

Ok so yesterday I spent a little (lot) money - stocked up on dry shampoo as it was less than half price so spent £10 rather than £20 on that. I also went for the body shop range I've been looking at, got £60 worth of product for £30 so I'm not going to cry about it. It's all good not spending money but sometimes you just have to speculate a few pennies somewhere along the line! The products seem really nice though and I have such annoying skin it's awkward to try and find something that works! Spent £10 on petrol and £16 on a top up shop, so all spends done on one day means I can have another run of NSDs this week! Popped the contents of my coin jar in the bank yesterdat morning too so got an extra £15 for the Barclaycard :j
Awaiting BF's return home, I think he's a little worse for wear so I'll get away with a nice quiet afternoon! I should really go for a run, hahaha that'll be the day!!Nest Egg Savings Target: £7300/£10,000
