You should not allow more than one child to use the trampoline at any one time.

Neighbours little girl broke her arm yesterday. She was on with her Dad. Complete accident, but he's gutted.

Dad may be gutted, but poor little girl. Unfortunately that will not be the end of it for dad, he is going to be 'investigated'.
kittiwoz, you advise is being taken in good faith but could not find your statement of guidance on garden trampolines (lind appears to be broken). The advise in the fact sheet is good, why someone would go underneath a trampoline whilst another is jumping on it beats me, but then these are some of the things kids do. Hopefully we will all enjoy it without much ado.
Do you make things happen, watch things happen, or just wonder, what happened?

You need to monitor kids whatever they are doing, so this is no different - they can get just as injured climbing up a tree.

My only worry is my lawn!!!

If you are putting it on the lawn then you can kiss goodbye to it.... unless your lawn is large enough to keep moving the trampoline around, but then again the plus side is that you don't need to cut that area ;)

Kittiwoz - thanks for the advice. I'm adhering to all safety regulations as stated on the box and my son has been well warned about all of them. My husband and me are taking it in turns to monitor the kids!

I did a scotvec module in trampolining years ago so I'm well aware of all the safety issues. The 10ft trampoline does come with an enclosure which I'm pretty impressed with so fingers crossed no accidents!

Does anyone know if any trampolines are/will be available in the nottinghamshire area? I tried phoning but they said they had none available and didn't seem to know anything about them!

i got one from Arnold this morning there was one left on the shelf but was possibly more in the back as they hadn't given it much space on the shopfloor it was by all the bargain DVDs and stuff

Just seen this post tonight. Just had a ring around local(ish) stores and hubbys racing on his way to get one. They only have two left and it is a 45 minute drive to get there. I hope they don't sell before he gets there as i he'll be a bit pee'd off as he had only just got in from work before he was out the door again.

    Wish us luck!!!

Hope you got one rebecca :-) and beware of the amount kids that descend on your garden when they realise you have one.

I've had to buy a timer for ours so that everyone knows when their turn is up!
