Hi All

As i don't know the answer i will ask her fro a friend.

She works, no childcare apart from the school holidays. Now if she puts down childcare and divides it by the 12 months, then she would be in arrears with paying for it.

So q' is When doing her childcare will the tax credits work out how much is owed just for those months during cc, rather than as a annual figure

It would be paid over the whole year on a 4 weekly basis, so in theory by the time the school holidays come she should have almost enough to cover the one or two weeks for term ends and 1/2 terms. Obviously it would be harder over the 6 week summer one. How many hours does she work and what is her gross salary? Get her to input this into the 5 minutes benefit checker on this site and see what she would be entitled to.
