Can I set a lower daily ATM limit?

I'd like to lower the maximum amount that can be withdrawn through an ATM from my bank account. Currently it's around £250 per day but I'd like to make it lower.
Does anyone know whether this can be done? As it's a Sunday today, I can't check with the bank.
Thanks

I know this can be done with RBS/Natwest by visiting your branch.Im an ex employee RBS GroupHowever Any Opinion Given On MSE Is Strictly My Own0

It's going to vary by bank, so the odds are you will need to contact your bank. Most have phone lines open on Sundays, if you're registered for phone banking.0

I think the OP is thinking of it as a way of reducing any security risk.
A limit can be raised or lowered in seconds should it be needed. But getting it raised above the card limit may not be something that they are prepared to do. Except in certain situations.Never ASSUME anything its makes a>>> A55 of U & ME <<<0 -
I had mine raised for an hour to let me withdraw £600 so I'm sure they can lower it. HSBC was the bank.Bad luck breeds bad luck.

I think they might do it but why?
You don't make an ATM withdrawal then its fraud and bank refunds.
Someone who has your card and PIN can do a lot more damage spending on the card rather than taking cash out of Cashpoint.0
