Wanted to top up coolant on my Vectra. Cap was a little tight and when it has come off just the top part of the cap has come off, meaning its still fully locked and cant get into it to add coolant.
Any ideas?!

^^ Agreed you cannot drive it without the correct cap in place, they have an internal pressure valve.
No pressure = coolant boils = air bubbles in the system = engine damage.
Excess pressure = coolant forces it's way through various seals (most likely at the edges of the radiator) = loss of coolant = engine damage.
I got one on Ebay for £6.“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”
