Housing Benefit for student parents

My partner and I are both full time students in our second year of our degree. We have a child each. We have just started living together and wondered whether we would still be entitled to housing benefit or whether the assessment will come back as nil? We have already declared to Housing Benefit that we are living together and are just waiting to hear back. Does anyone have any idea of what the kind of percentage of the LHA rate we would get? Before my partner moved in I was getting just over 50%.
Will we still be entitled to full housing benefit/LHA rate in the summer vacation as well?
