Frozen boiler condensate waste...what to do.

    Would have been perfect last year, but this year I made sure the pipe is very well insulated to stop it happening again :)

    you just need to pour some warm (not boiling hot) water over the pipe this will thaw it and let the boiler work properly
  • There is now a low cost solution (about £25) called CondenseSure from Worcester Bosch that is easy to install.

    An even better solution is to rereun the drain inside which is what many installers should have done in the first place. Of course some outside runs are unavoidable but in such cases,run the pipe inside as far as possible before dipping it outside..
    Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..

    Also advice on correct installation options. Some RGIs will go with the cheapest/easiest option to keep the price down.
