It's already an extremely expensive area.

The "master plan" involves remodelling a lot of the spaces and access routes in the building but it doesn't really add a huge range of new attractions and facilities. A new hotel and a theatre.

as said, its already toppy. I am sceptical this will make any material difference to the pricing. tbh, they have been saying this and that about ally pally redevelopment for 30-years.

It's quite cheap Woodgreen side of ally pally though and I've known the area all my life and I think this development will go ahead. It's a no brainier really, now the master plan is down I think the lottery will come good.

define "cheap" and "wood green" :)

you pays your money you takes your choice.

on the upside - good transport and shopping links.

I hope the regeneration makes a difference to prices for selfish reasons.

So someone who live in area says it's a great time to buy in area!

There's something that makes me rather uncomfortable about the prospect if lottery ticket sales in Liverpool, Middlesbrough, Grimbsy and Hull paying for a theatre refurbishment in Muswell Hill.

I've bought, love it, really happy, never selling if i can help it, couldn't afford a cottage backing onto a protected wood for less than 290k with a cinema, Piccadilly line and green space on my doorstep anywhere else. Just trying to share the love.

... And regarding the proposed development of Alley Pally, that will bring the London tourist dollars which support places like Grimsby and hull. If London loses its mojo, how are we going to subsidise all those lottery tickets bought in Grimsby ?
