Panini Grill/Press

We are looking to buy a panini press but also would like it to act as a grill for steaks etc like the ones they have in the states. Had the old style George Forman Grills years ago and was not too keen on them.

We were looking at a Cuisinart one but the reviews were not great about the thermostat kicking in and the plates going cold half-way through cooking.

My OH has set his heart on this one

The problem is it only seems to be available in US or Australia. We have looked into getting one shipped but the sites state not suitable for International Shipping. Can anybody tell me whether it is a voltage issue? Could I not just use an adapter type plug?

I'm sure you can now gather I don't even change a plug in my house:rotfl:

Any advice or recommendations for similar products would be brill:D

Many Thanks

Just don't import electrical goods. Voltage needs more than an adapter to put right and anything with a motor or a transformer inside will require you to consider supply frequency.
You might as well ask the Wizard of Oz to give you a big number as pay a Credit Referencing Agency for a so-called 'credit-score'
  • Thanks for the advice.

Does anybody have advice regarding a decent multi grill which is like the one above. I would love a recommendation from somebody who has used one regularly.

    Many Thanks
