Personal Leasing

With leasing, essentially you're paying for the depreciation.
I lease my car privately and it works for me. I chose the cheapest car (citroen C1) and mileage is under 10k a year, it costs me about 138GBP a month for 3 years. There are no children so the car is kept nice and clean! After 3 years I give the car back.
I like it as I know nothing about cars and this way I'm protected by the warranty if something goes wrong.
If you want a more expensive car and do a lot of mileage then it's probably not worth it for you compared to the price of a slightly older car although that does depend on the HP charges.
I got mine through Ling and I have to say that they are great and one of the cheapest around.0 -
I've been looking for PCP offers on Juke Tekna and apparently gateway2lease have much better pricing than lings.0

Still a lot of money though. Typically what someone pays for 1 years lease will buy me a car. The 2nd year of the lease will be enough to keep the car going for at least 5 years.
It works for some people. Some people do it because its easy although not the best option cost wise.
You need to think what if you take the lease and lose your job in a few months. Still have the lease to pay. Happens to people all the time.
Spoke to an old mate i used to work with the other day and seems the firm got taken over and they got rid of almost everyone.
I would never have thought it in a million years. Its the sort of place you would think a job for life.
