does anyone remember the department shop sidney heath in swansea.... it used to be where yates wine bar is now

as some of you know i collect/sell vintage clothing and i got an old twin tailed man's jacket... which i am trying to date..

part of my hobby is finding out the history of the company that made or sold the item...

so does anyone know when the shop closed.. or any other info.. thanks....

Hi,

I remember that shop there being called Treasure before it became Yates. So not sure if the shop you are looking for was before Treasure or whether it was part of Treasure. There is still a Treasure shop in Mumbles, so not sure if someone there would be able to help you.

hi.....yes it is where treasure was....i think sidnesy heath was the shop before treasure.....

thanks i didnt realise that treasure was in mumbles... so will give them a ring tomorrow....

the museum.. didnt have much info....so once i have got a date or year that they closed.. then i can go and have a look at the newspaper achives...
