    Hi
I know people have asked about the Sharp GX-15 and been told there isn't an unlock code for free. However, when we phoned Vodafone and asked to be unlocked, they gave us a procedure to follow involving typing a number, then going in the menu to MEP locks and putting in a handset code, then entering an NUC code. However, it doesn't seem to work, but they were very sure that it should work. So now I don't know if I did it wrong or if they were wrong and it doesn't work. And I don't know where to take my phone to to get it unlocked - I live in Cheltenham, anyone know of anywhere? I don't think we have any markets with phone people. Do I take it to a Vodafone shop?
    Please help!

    Thank you
    Ali

Yes that is what we tried but it didn't work. My sister tried it a few times, so now we are worried it will break the phone if we keep trying. And I can't try it again until I see her on the weekend as I don't have a Vodafone sim! So why didn't it work?? She phoned vodafone but they just said that is the procedure and they can't help further. I would take it to a market stall I just have no idea where to find one!!
    Any further advice?
    Thanks, Ali

    Thanks in advance,
