    Hi James-73,

    Thanks just unlocked my sister’s phone.

    There was one problem however, after I input the first set of numbers and pressed hash the message "SIM MEP lock failed" came up, so then I pressed the back up button or the red handset down button (I cant remember) and the first screen came up again (insert sim screen) but this time I input the second set of numbers and the done (tick) logo came up for a second and the phone was un-locked.

    My sons phone has to go in for repair so I tried his O2 sim card in his old vodafone Sagem MY V-55. The screen says PAY T LOCK. Can I unlock this for free or does he have to live without his phone till its fixed? Thanks, I hope someone can help.:confused:

    direct unlock or if voda then code would be about £15

    may get from vodacode database for about £15
