ive heard that its possible to get the unlocking code for free from the network if you've had the phone more than 12 months or have spent over a certain amount of credit or something... is there any truth in this? as i could ask the original owner of my phone to get this info for me if its possible...

if it was voda you could have got the code cheaper
if its a contract phone then it should already be unlocked, otherwise i think it wil be about £20ish and you would have to post it or find someone local
