Amiga 500

Hi My Oh has just bought himself an old amiga 500 and is wondering where he can get some games for it. Does anyone know where he can get them from?
Also he needs things like a joystick and some blank discs.....

i have had a quick look on EBay but was wondering if there is somewhere else that he can get them from!

Oh well I suppose its better than him wanting an X Box 360 or a PS3.

heres an emulator and i have still got 2 amiga 1200 boxed with joysticks and about 300 games.

There are people on ebay selling emulators and ROMs, though it's worth mentioning as a matter of legality that unless he owns the game already then using a ROM is illegal.

You can also find things like this on newsgroups.

P.s. Excellent purchase too! I grew up writing games for the Amiga, and loved it to bits as a machine. Was a sad day when PCs took over in the home. :-(

Occassionally you see retro packs for sale in gamestation - depends on your local branch , but have seen most old retro consoles at some point or other - you could also try charity shops they sometimes have them in...

car boots- i used to have one back in the day with over 2000 games . you always see the games at car boots, boxes full for less than a fiver-try feecycle too.


oh, and imo monkey island 1 and 2 were the best games!
