I have had a letter from the Official receiver stating that my bankruptcy file has been handed over to a long term asset unit. What is this and what do they do?!

Thanks for the reply. This makes sense now! I received a letter 2 weeks ago stating that we were being considered for early discharge. Im guessing that they will deal with our old house until it is realised by the mortgage company. Thanks for putting my mind at rest.:j0
