A friend told me yesterday, whilst sledging with the kids, that she got snow trousers and jackets in Aldi or Lidl (sorry, I can't remember) for £12/set for her 6 & 7 year olds. I'd say that was a real bargain!0

We got our girls 2nd hand from eBay a couple of years ago, although they were as good as new. A few months ago we bought replacement for eldest DD, youngest had the others passed down and hers were passed to a friends DD.0

This place do really cheap things, but you need to go in store.

Got somethings from Lidl too, but that is only every now and then.0 -

We have just bought our little girl a waterproof suit by 'Spotty Otter'. They also do ones which are fleece lined etc. It was expensive (£41.99 in the sale, down from £60), but is excellent quality and I would buy one again.
I appreciate that not everyone has the willing / wherewithal to pay that kind of price, but wanted to mention it as a very good quality option. I guess it depends how much use you think your children will get out of it. We went for a waterproof suit, rather than a fleecy lined waterproof suit so that DD can use it in spring and autumn too on wet days without getting too hot.
We bought a neutral colour in a size too big so it will last 2 winters and another child even if we have a boy.
Go Outdoors is a good option too - they sell lots of makes at reduced prices. https://www.gooutdoors.co.uk
Hope that helps.

But he has been warm and dry after several hours romping about in the snow each day. We got boots at aldi last year for £10.0 -
Hi
I bought both of mine ski jacket with salopettes from Aldi last year for about £14. They both wore their jackets to school for most of last year. I was impressed with quality.
My son is a scout and they always have a camp in February called the ice camp and they recommended Aldi for warm outdoor clothes.

Can't recommend spotty otter stuff enough.
Agreed it is expensive but we managed to ebay the things our DS outgrew and got almost 80% of the money back.
It is fantastic quality stuff.0
