After a month of going round in circles with edf i think it's time to go public. Awful service, no response from their complaint resolutionmanager or from their online complaint procedure. Have been with them since May and since then my economy 10 tariff rates have been transposed, they need to be swapped, not that difficult, have sent meter readings, photos of meter and bills and now they have decided that perhaps someone needs to come and read my meter which they could have done at the start, so why did they not do it. This cannot be the first time this has happened and yet the way they behave its all come as a bit of shock that they may have have got it wrong. My previous company had it the right way round..... idiots...

You have now found out that the energy industry is institutionally incompetent (regulator included). Get off of the e-mails and phone and go the old fashioned snail mail way with a letter headed COMPLAINT, they then have 8 weeks to resolve the issue to your satisfaction or you go to the ombudsman. If you actually lodged a complaint via the on-line procedure the clock started ticking at that point so may be worth a quick letter pointing that out to them. In answer to your original question, no.

Never associate with idiots on their own level, because, being an intelligent man, you'll try to deal with them on their level - and on their level they'll beat you every time.

Being hated by idiots is the price you pay for not being one of them.
