They may try to envelope him with a lot of questions but he must be frank and remember to make them stamp their seal of approval on his application :D

May the ParcelForce be with you ;)

Oh dear, needs must I guess but I can't honestly give any encouraging thoughts.

They are awful to work for, an absolute hell hole.

The interview is no big deal, just the same as any other place.

I'd deffo look for something else, in fact, I did, it would be an absolute last resort for me.

    Sorry!

Thanks for your reply, OH has been out of work nearly 2 years and is clutching at straws to get a job. He will try/do anything at the moment.

2013 is seeming to look better hopefully also got an interview lined up with JLR and his mate is also in the pipeline of trying to get him a job for a firm he works for. So fingers crossed.

    xx

me being a 20 year man who has just left through ill health retirments, what i can tell you is

    DONT BOTHER

royal mail are the worst company to work for in terms of bullying and harassmant.

you will be expected to work well over your finish time for no extra pay. the response will be the computer says it can be done. if you start to compain they will infer not renewing your fixed term contract to bully you to their way of thinking

its all about monthly saving targets and bonus now for managers

take the job as a last resort

Good for him, I'm sorry to have posted such a negative review of them but, sometimes, it's better to know these things to be prepared.

Anything is better than being out of work but I'd urge OH to keep looking, even if he starts with RM.

    Good luck!
