Do these meter readings sound right?
I might add we don't have thermostats so can't adjust the temperatures and we've got a back boiler & gas fire (fire doesn't work). We (2 adults) live in a 2 bedroom terraced house, rented.
Do the readings sound right? My OH is going mad, saying that is far too much - to use over 500 units in 3 weeks.

Big question is who took the meter reading on 31 Dec ?
Never associate with idiots on their own level, because, being an intelligent man, you'll try to deal with them on their level - and on their level they'll beat you every time.

That usage is high, my daily max this month has been 10 cu m and that is keeping my 3 bed detached at 17 - 20 deg 24/7 plus warming the conservatory, 12 rads in all.

We're considering asking for a replacement meter just in case the meter is faulty - what do you think? I'm dreading the bill, it seems far too high. Our last bill was about 375 units for August to beginning of November. We have 7 radiators in total but two don't work very well - not sure if they need to be bled or not.
We have spoken to the gas company previously and they said the boiler is obviously not very efficient! However, I'm still concerned about the meter because the numbers are still going up even when the gas is off.0 -
But 500 units of what? You need to say if your meter is metric or imperial -it's marked on it.
Having no room 'stat is crazy-they cost from about £15, or a digital programmer is about £60-you'd save that back in one season.
If you have the meter changed and it is found not to be faulty, then you will not get the cost of changing it back.No free lunch, and no free laptop
