Hi thanks for that, but its the actual password that was set by the person setting it up, have got a program to give me the key, but unable to get to the password, I have looked on my origional machine and can tell its 8 digits long, thought I would be able to guess the password, but seems not... driving me nuts... other than that how dificult would it to be to reset it all and start again... have 3 pc's connected to the WLAN?

is it the admin passord you need?
You could try doing a factory default reset on your router. Often a long press of the reset button.Apparently I'm 10 years old on MSE. Happy birthday to me...etc0 -
