Best method of security camera protection?

Options
Hi all,

I was looking into what kind of steps I can take to secure my home, especially after realising the amount of burglaries that go on.

I was looking to buy a camera system, just so I can make sure that I can remotely see what's happening at home incase I am ever out (there's usually ALWAYS one person who has to stay at home, just incase anything happens, which is a hassle :/)

I was looking at these systems:

And was wondering if there were any alternative methods? I'd need it to be completely wireless e.g no drilling of walls to pass wires through or long cables.

Primarily, I just need to put one outside facing the front door, one in the hall way, and maybe in the living room, and be able to access the camera online, without it costing a fortune.

Thank you very much in advance for any recommendations as to what I should do!

Why would CCTV cameras secure your home? All they'll do is possibly provide blurry pictures of the scallies who broke in after the event.

You mentioned you want a wireless system (typically offering abysmal quality at eBay prices) and have posted a link to a wired system. BTW wireless systems still need power cables to them.
