Hi All,
I've got 2 external hard drives (USB) that I backup my photos & films (about 400gb in total) onto. I've also got a 5gb of photos saved in the cloud (dropbox)
But I'am starting to run out of space and its quite time consuming transferring stuff about. I'm looking into getting a Wireless Harddrive.
I'm currently looking at a Seagate 2TB freeagent, go flex.

Can anybody answer these questions:
1. Do you have to attach to your router via a network cable or can you put it anywhere and it'll pick up the router wirelessly?
2. If I put films on it is there a way I could access them via my TV? It's not a smart telly or has a ethernet port, but does have a USB port, could I put a USB access stick it and that would pick the storage box up?
Many Thanks

1) Yes or you can use homeplugs
2) As long as your tv can connect wirelessly to your router then it can access it
However do note the transfer speeds of the hardrive is dead slow around 3mbps even though your router could be way faster,i have the 1tb version and as i couldnt return it i use it for nightly backups as its not really good for instant access or file transfer at high speeds0 -
