whats the curry called thats made with spinach and cubed cheese. Its a soft motzarrela type cheese, gorgeous mmmm!
Saag paneer. I've tried recreating it at home several times, but can never get the right flavour. I'm probably not using enough oil, and from what i understand you should use tinned spinach
Very useful website for veg inspiration is

Why on earth would you use tinned spinach? I see you dont know either, is it the consistancy, is it the makers of tinned spinach who gave out that particular recipe? the plot thickens:T:jDabbler in all things moneysaving.Master of none:o

I think it's for the consistency. It does seem to look more like the restaurant version when i've used tinned, but as i said, i can't get the taste right.0 -

Using red pepper is cheating as it is not season
well i'll give you the answer some wag gave when they were asked about drinking before 6 o'clock (old school, this guy): "I'm sure its 6 o'clock somewhere in the world).. so: "I'm sure its in season somewhere in the world!"
i see your point though. hm. dried red pepper flakes or chilli flakes then, for flavour? (my OH loves chilli flakes atm.. they go in almost everything..)

My dehydrator getting some use this year for seasonal veg when it's in season, buy, dry and use later. One of the best investments I made. Especially with how fast all the Basil seeds I planted are growing, only expected a few to grow as I had so many previous failed attempts, I think I could make a field of it at this rate :rotfl:One day I might be more organised...........
