Life In A Cottage Garden...
I was surprised to see the above programme featuring Carol Klein on BBC2 at 8.30 last night
I know that they are repeats, and reversioned into 4 programmes (Spring, Summer, Autumn Winter) but it's something to watch during the winter when we can't get out into our own gardens much.

I've missed the Summer one apparently but it's available on Iplayer

So say all of us! I've just watched the summer one, nice to remember what summer should be like...
Beautifully filmed though, I like a bit of escapism...)

I have been enjoying these too. I am very envious of her garden- it is my dream for our 'forever house' to have a garden of that size with so much potential!
After watching 'Summer', I borrowed her book on cultivating plants from the library and subsequently ordered cut flower seeds for the allotment. I am now looking forward to getting started and growing for the new cut flower bed.0 -
I love Carol Klein, I have that book neet, it sent me on an obsessive propagation spree a few years back, and resulted in me having literally hundreds of plants! I could've filled my garden twice over. DH was is still terrified whenever I say "i'm just going to take a few cuttings" ...0

Sad to see that Carol has 'lost' some of her garden/nursery. I look forward to seeing what she gets up to in the future.

.... I love Carol, but sometimes I do think the programme must be sponsored by the manufacturers and suppliers of grit - she uses it on everything!0

Oops sorry! Just found it when I googled Carol Klein for programme info Thought that it was last summer. Still, it was news to me...;):)
So was the program made to show the rebuilding of the garden? I can understand his concern in some ways, lets face it for our gardens to be beautiful we have to create some mess. Still love Carol though0
