Thanks Skint for getting us started

Su 27th Roast chicken, beetroot & celeriac gratin, roast spuds & greens

Hi everyone
Freezing here and a lot of snow with more forecast so my meal plan is going to have to be based on what we've got in as I am too scared to drive on these roads!
Sat- HM ham and cheese quiche with salad and HM chips
Sun - HM pizza and wedges
Mon- toad in the hole, roasties and freezer veg
Tue - Mac cheese and HM garlic bread
Wed - chicken pie, baked pots and freezer veg
Thurs- chicken fried rice
Fri - sausage casserole and mash with freezer veg
I am going to make some soup with what I can scrape together and some bread to use for lunches. I still have some batch baked muffins in the freezer but will make some jam crumblie and a gingerbread for this week's lunches.
Keep safe and warm

Thanks for starting the thread - I didn't see it either. My mealplan is now finalised, so here goes:
Mon - Chicken Drumsticks with Tomato & Bacon Pasta
Tues - Lamb Tikka Kebabs with Jewelled Rice
Weds - Sausage Casserole with Jacket Potatoes
Thurs - Chilli con Carne with Sautee Potatoes
Fri - Jambalaya
Sat - Lasagne
Sun - Steak & Ale Pie with either Mash or Chips
Getting to the stage where I'll need to do a meat shop so am making a bit of room in the freezer. I prefer to do a bulk run once a month or so. I'm going to start costing my meals, I think, as a side project to see if there's anywhere else I can tighten up.
Have a lovely week, everyone. Take care and keep warm.
