Yes you must declare your change of circumstances to HMRC. However, the amount you can earn before tax credits are tapered is much more than £20pw, and the amount you are talking about won't cause any drop in your CTC.
Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. (Link permitted by forum team)
Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

you will also be receiving housing benefit and council tax benefit (not unless your house is paid for) but

declare everything, i mean this in a sincere way, if you don't they will catch up with you and you maybe penalised, have a peace of mind and pride instead of hiding and worrying

    take care

You can earn almost £16,000 a year before your CTC is affected, you can earn £50,000 before your child ben is affected, and child maintenance won't be affected whatever your income, and doesn't count as income for either CTC or child ben.

So you'll have no problems earning £22.50 a week :)
