Have they changed JSA payments to weekly or its something to do with Christmas/New Year periods? For some reason since the beginning of this year, for the first two weeks I have been getting my JSA payments weekly, every Friday. Today I checked my account and have not had payment for the last week and wondering if it was something to do with Christmas and now they back to normal payments which are every fortnight. Has anyone else been getting JSA payments every week?

Was it something to do with Christmas/New Year periods? I had weekly payments on 4 and 11 January and was due weekly payment today but have not received it.

There was a glitch somewhere over the christmas period and some people were paid on wrong days a week earlier than normal, but they have since been told that it should all go back the normal payment schedules from now on. When should you have received your 2 weekly payment - had it not arrived weekly recently? That should be your next one.

I only started getting one week payments from New Year and they were on 4 January, 11 January and I expected one yesterday but have not received it. Before that I was getting payments every two weeks. Does it mean that my next payment will be on 25 January which is next Friday? Just got worried if they stopped it.

Last time I signed on I got the following note .. I'm assuming everyone should have got one!
We paid your benefit early for the Christmas period to make sure you received it on time. This changed the date of your first payment in 2013. The first fortnightly payment you were due to receive has been split into two separate weekly payments. One payment will be paid one week early, and the other payment will be paid on your normal pay day. The early payment you receive is not extra money. You will receive the same amount overall and need to make sure you budget for this. You will receive your next normal fortnightly payment on your usual pay day
    Hope that helps!

The problem is that I have not received that note. That is why I got confused when I started receiving weekly payments instead of fortnightly. As I have not had this week payment I assuming I'll get it next Friday. Thank you all, you have been very helpful.
