Spanish registered car potential parking ticket

My parents who live in Spain have driven to the uk to help me do some jobs at my house, their car is Spanish plates and is properly registered to them in Spain!
After a very stress trip to the stansted airport this morning my mum knocked a hot drink over her and in the general confusion my father pulled over to the kerb and stopped to help my mother out!
As he was pulling off after settling my mother he notices one of those cars with the swirling camera on top, be didn't catch the name of the company!
They returned home to me flustered and not sure what might happen now! I am guessing the airport uses these cars to stop people from parking to avoid parking fees and for potential security reason and to eliminate congestion!
They do not go back to Spain for four weeks, and obviously the car doesn't have any uk registered address, so if they get a ticket, which they are of course willing to pay how I'll it be served to them. Although they believe they stopped for just a few minutes! Will they even attempt to serve it! I have tried google but can't find any information to give them any advice - any thoughts?

Nothing will happen from it, there is no data sharing between the Spanish equivalent of our dvla and us, so it's highly unlikely that they will ever hear from it. If they do hear from them it will be through a European debt collector that probably has as much power there as they do here. Which is to say virtually none. When posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. They DO monitor the forum.
We don't need the following to help you.
Name, Address, PCN Number, Exact Date Of Incident, Date On Invoice, Reg Number, Vehicle Picture, The Time You Entered & Left Car Park, Or The Amount of Time You Overstayed.

Chances are they're not going to bother pursuing it, as it's too much bother with too little chance of success. It's not like a speeding ticket, where the police can pursue it if they really want - but even then, unless they stop you at the roadside, bureaucracy makes it too hard.0

They are willing to pay a FAKE PCN? Would you pay a fake PCN if issued to your own car, registered in the UK? If so you haven't read the right information.
You are on the right forum - happy reading of pretty much any thread to learn about this scam. Any private ticket should be ignored.
The only ones to take seriously would come from the Police or Council, or TFLondon or (rarely) a Train Operator like Northern rail with a real penalty parking ticket.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Just as an interesting aside in Spain genuine parking fines etc attach to the car, so when you go to sell it the new owner will have to pay the fines or it can't be transferred to his name. So beware if you ever buy a secondhand Spanish car, make the seller come with you when you go to transfer the documentation and take any fines out of the purchase price.0
