Unfair Dismissal - Company Won't Pay!

Options
Hi,

I'm hoping someone might be able to give me some advice regarding what I need to do next....

I was awarded a sum of money by an Employment Tribunal for unfair dismissal. The company have not paid this. They are no longer operating, but seem to still be active, and I believe an Administrative Receiver has been appointed. What do I need to do to try and get my money?!

Thanks,

If your former employer is in administration, you can make a claim to the National Insurance Fund on Form RP1 for certain elements of your compensation

(eg Basic award, unpaid holiday pay, unpaid wages)

But the compensatory award is not covered by the fund. For that, you must make a claim in the insolvency as a creditor of the company, but the payout is likely to be low or nil.

Having watched "Call in the sherrifs" on BBC1 recently...
Cant you get someone like that to enforce a writ?
    Costs £60 if not successful!

Normally, it is possible to send in the county court (£40) or high court (£60) bailiffs to enforce a tribunal award

But there is little point when the employer is insolvent and in administration.
