ok gotcha, well I would still expect through their contract there is a responsibility but how much I am not sure.
Don't trust a forum for advice. Get proper paid advice. Any advice given should always be checked

I would have thought they have no duty to someone who is not on their payroll and doing MWA

If you are working for someone in any regard [voluntary, mandatory, paid for] then they have a duty of care. After all you are getting work out of someone in this instance for nothing. Which is everything that's wrong with MWA or whatever they call it.

If an employer has work to do they should be paying someone to do it, not get it for free.

    *gets off soapbox
If you haven't got it - please don't flaunt it. TIA.

I agree with you as if there is a job you need someone to do why not oay for it to be done? Oh, yes that's it the DWP will give you someone for free and that's not a job at all.
