I'll soon have another £10.97 for my pot as I've just requested payment from ciao:TComping, Clicking & Saving for Change0

Ooooo... never thought of my Quidco account.... but then it would involve me actually giving them my PayPal details, and I never seem to remember
Queenie.... that's a good idea.... I've been thinking of bringing my own flask into work and getting hot water from the work's machine to make tea with dried milk but I was thinking more from the perspective of I'm trying to reduce the waste I generate in work in the form of the disposable drinks cups etc and then I'd only have the tea bags to compost
I never thought about the saving of £1.50 a day (minus the cost of 3 tea bags and dried milk....).... Righto, I'm digging out my 'one cup' thermos flask the weekend when I can get to my cupboards and guess what I'm trying from next week? :rotfl:April 2021 Grocery Challenge 34.29 / 2500 -
Thanks for that Queenie! I am now going a little step further. I am self employed, and get tips from clients sometimes, so I am going to add those into my PMS jar, as I figure they are extra and I don't ever expect them. So today I have put £5.00 in! This is such fun I am going to join in properly next month!!!Friday April 9th 2010 the day I become Mrs Jones!

I'm joining up this month [albeit rather late] as have worked out it's year until we plan to go to Canada for our once in a lifetime trip and I'm going to start pinching those pennies even more. Today I have bought a pic frame from Wilko which although was an unplanned purchase was half price [ £1.99] and it will do to frame the cross stitch picture I've just started that will go on my kitchen door. Also plan to buy some half priced lavender oil in Holland and Barrett [I always wait to stock up on it then] on the way home. Shall plan my shopping list with military precision tonight and have got £9.50 in vouchers there so by my reckoning pms pot is already at £11.49!

Welcome to our PMS Challenge wam73 :hello:
Had a nice little find yesterday at Mr T's. Needed some energy saving light bulbs for the stock cupboard.
Planned to buy some GE 11w bulbs which should have been £2.78 each but were on offer for £1.37
Tucked further along I spied exactly the same bulb, same make, different wrapping for ... 81p :j They were being "discontinued" and as there were only 6, I snapped them all up
Now, I already knew I was making a virtual saving of £8.46 by checking out the price at Tesco online and going for that brand. I would have bought half a dozen anyway and £1.37 is what I had expected to pay, so I made an actual saving of £3.36 :j
I'm happy with that~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
