Hi all,
I've already asked this question elsewhere, but think it may be in the wrong place!
I applied online today to my bank for a loan (repay my OD!) , and the response was that they needed me to ring for a chat before they made a decision. Will this affect my credit rating in a negative way?

Well....they probably have done a full search already so having a chat with them will do no harm....it does not mean it will get accepted so if decline only the search will show....0
