OP, using your halogen heater in place of the night storage is really not cost -effective, as it will cost you around 3 times as much to run that on E7 day rate as it woud to run the NSH on E7 night rate.
On E7, any power you use outside of the 7 hour night rate is at a premium price.No free lunch, and no free laptop
