Can anyone help me with a quick how-to on copying archived emails from an outlook account to outlook.com (Hotmail)?
I have lots of emails archived in folders. Ideally I'd like to transfer whole folders (i.e. so I can still see who they were from on what date, rather than having to forward them each to the other account).

Possibilities:
- Exchange ActiveSync (Outlook 2013)
- Hotmail Connector (Outlook 2003-2010)
Once you have both accounts setup, you should be able to copy messages directly from the source account to your new outlook.com account. I would NOT recommend just dragging and dropping, because this will delete the messages from your source mailbox and we’d like to keep the original copies just in case something goes wrong.
You can just copy and paste email messages from your Inbox and Sent Mail folders (don’t forget those messages in your Sent folder). For individual folders you can right click and select Copy Folder.0 -
That's worked a treat - thank you so much :j0
