How To Add to Address Book In Thunderbird?

I've just set up an email account for someone in Thunderbird (on Windows 7) She wants to add some addresses to the address book from her Inbox emails. (eg. Fred Bloggs emailed her, so how does she add his address without entering it manually)? I assumed that there would be a right click option on an address, but no. I then spent 20 minutes looking all over it for a way, but can see nothing.
Can anyone assist please? I can't believe that it doesn't have this function, but if it does, I can't find it!

View an email from the sender, then right or left click on their email address at the top in the 'From field'. Then select 'Add to Address Book' from the pop-up menu list.

I don't think there's a way to bulk add.
