Will banks continue to charge?

Hello,
Does anybody know what happens with charges once the bank has paid out? My first correspondence from Barclays is offering me about 800 out 1000 being claimed, but I am worried that by agreeing to this, I am signing away my rights to any future claims and they can charge me what they want.
Has anybody had an success in making future charges more reasonable? I thought I could accept the lower amount as long as we reach and agreement on future charges, but dont know if they will do that - considering they are not admitting any fault and are only paying out to avoid lengthy legal costs!?
They have given me 8 days to respond, so any thoughts are much appreciataed. Thanks in advance!

They will still charge you in future, hopefully you won't be getting any more thought! I would press for the full amount.0
