Which glue to stick worktop edging?

I have a "Lunar night" worktop from Homebase, and I need to fix the edging strip to it. The edging comes on a roll.
Which glue should I use, because I have a few at home including Araldite and EvoStick (which is in a black tube and is supposed to glue anything)?
Should I Unibond the edge first or just glue the edging straight on?
I know that I will have to use a file/abrasive paper after to get a fine finish.

Cheers.

Contact adhesive. PVA won't help adhesion one iota.

PVA does work well if you use an iron on it,similar to iron-on edging. Also tried superglue with an activator and as you suggest Contact adhesive..

Sorry I was unclear. My reply was in response to OPs suggestion that they might PVA it before using another adhesive.

Worktop edging tape is good. I find it better than the glue and gives a more solid feeling finish. Less mess too. Just stick it on, secure the edging and file it down.:)

Evo stick, dont worry about perfect cut edges as you can sand them smooth when its dry.
